Modoc National Forest fire personnel responded to a reported vegetation fire west of Clear Lake Reservoir on the Doublehead Ranger District June 26. The Clear Fire is now 100% contained. 100 feet in of mop up operation completed.

Remarks

Crews did excellent work, holding all lines with minimal smoke visible the morning of June 27. Fire personnel will continue to work on suppressing the fire and reinforcing containment lines. Responding resources included 6 engines, 2 crews, 1 dozer, 1 air attack, 2 air tankers, 1 type 2 helicopter, and multiple overhead.
