CURRENT SITUATION:
The Lidia Fire was reported on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, at around 1:08 p.m. on Soledad Canyon Road in Acton, California. The Angeles National Forest is in unified command with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The fire is approximately 394 acres with 75% containment. Firefighters are making great progress with aircraft support.

Road Closures:
ROAD CLOSURES
Per CHP Newhall: A Sigalert has been issued in Acton due to the Lidia Fire, resulting in the closure of Soledad Canyon Road between Agua Dulce Canyon Road and Crown Valley Road. The duration of the closure is unknown at this time. Drivers should seek alternate routes and stay updated.
Forest Closure:
The entire Angeles National Forest is temporarily closed 05-01-25-01 for public safety and the protection of natural resources from today, January 8, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. through Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 12:00 midnight. During this time, the following acts are prohibited within the Angeles National Forest and San Gabriel Mountains National Monument.
