The Gray Fire was first reported at 1227 on Friday, August 18th. The fire started near Gray Road, west of Medical Lake and quickly spread by wind to the east.
All Evacuations Notices have been rescinded effective September 5, 2023.

Incident Description | Medical Lake, Silver Lake, and Four Lakes area – Fire activity has moderated and crews continue to mop up hotspots around fire perimeter, near homes and buildings. Crews will continue to assess around homes and along the line, mitigating fuels to secure areas along the line and around homes. |

Winds will be light and variable in the early morning with speeds generally under 10mph. the drying of the airmass will equate to cooler morning lows in the 40’s while highs rebound in the 70’s. |
