Stevensville Ranger District Bitterroot National Forest

Location:  9.5 miles west of Stevensville, MT

No fire growth has occurred over the past 10 days and crews have extinguished all visible hotspots. Crew will be patrolling for any additional hotspots that may have survived the rain that has fallen over the past 10 days.

Closures: A closure order is in place for the Big Creek Trailhead in Stevensville MT. 

Closures surrounding fire areas are necessary to protect the safety and welfare of the public and provide for safe firefighting efforts and access. Specific closure information and maps will be posted on InciWeb and https://www.fs.usda.gov/r01/bitterroot as they are implemented.
