The Northern New Mexico Type 3 Incident Management Team will transition command of the fire back to the Jemez Ranger District Wednesday, June 15 2022. The incident information number will no longer be monitored after Wednesday. For fire information contact the Jemez Ranger District or the Santa Fe National Forest.

NM Hwy 4 is open to through traffic. Please drive carefully and watch for fire vehicle traffic entering the roadway.
There are no longer evacuations in place. Property owners have been allowed to return to their properties.
The Santa Fe National Forest has implemented a full forest closure order. All portions of the forest are off limits to the public and fines of up to $5,000 for individuals and fines up to $10,000 for organizations may be given to anyone violating the closure order. Violators may also be sentenced for up to 6 months imprisonment. These closures are in effect due to the extreme fire danger conditions. Resources will continue working south of Hwy 4 to increase containment in areas with heat remaining. Divisions will continue to monitor and mop up existing containment lines. On secure portions of the perimeter, suppression repair actions are ongoing under direction of resource advisors. |

| Weather Concerns | Moisture will begin to return on Thursday, and a mix of wet and dry thunderstorms with gusty winds will return across portions central and eastern New Mexico as well. A monsoon pattern looks to set up for late in the week and over the weekend. This will bring better chances for wetting rains across western and potentially central New Mexico |
