Update: As of 7:00 AM this morning, June 13, 2025, Southeast Washington Interagency Incident Management Team turned the fire over to a small type 4 team led by Incident Commander Chase Brewer. The local team will continue mop up efforts and will monitor the fire area watching for any remaining hot spots. They will patrol the area ensuring the control lines around the perimeter of the fire and the lines around structures in the area are secure. Once mop up is complete, the fire will move into “patrol” status. During patrol, the fire area is still heavily watched each day, but no physical action is taken unless a smoking area or a hazard is seen. Patrol is a valuable tool that provides eyes on the fire to closely monitor any changes and take immediate action if needed. For questions about the Red Bridge Road Fire, you can contact the Department of Natural Resources.

Weather and Fire Behavior: Temperatures for today are expected to be in the mid to upper 60s with mostly sunny skies. Wind gusts up to 23 mph are anticipated.

Smoke: Air quality is good in the Kittitas County areas. There are two new wildfires in the Eastern part of Washington State that are causing some smoke impacts in other areas. For more information on smoke and air quality, please visit Washington Smoke Information (https://wasmoke.blogspot.com/).

Resources: 28 personnel are currently working on the fire.
