Acreage: The Buck Fire is now 28,900 acres. Winds are pushing the fire growth to the north/northeast.
Values at Risk: Private land ranches with structures are in the vicinity of the fire. Efforts are being made to preserve these structures. The Continental Divide WSA and the Continental Divide Trail are also being impacted. Hikers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

Resources: Albuquerque Zone Type 3 management team will assume command this evening, June 14 at 6pm. 140 personnel are currently assigned to the Buck Fire.
