South Lake Photo Road Conditions to Parchers Resort

On the Photos Tab at the top are 7 photos showing a South Lake Road update for May 27, 2023. The road is closed at Parchers Resort. Visitors can walk the rest of the road for 1.2 miles to South Lake, and the Bishop Pass Trailhead. The road is plowed to South Lake, and a single lane is plowed to the Bishop Pass Trailhead. Water, rock debris, and leaning trees across the road after the road closure are present in that area. One section of the left lane is collapsing due to snow melt runoff soon after passing the closure. Multiple feet of snow remain at South Lake and Bishop Pass Trailhead!
